Matthew D. Dusig, Co-Founder & CEO
As Co-Founder and CEO of uSamp (United Sample), Matt Dusig oversees technology, marketing, operations and corporate business development. With a key focus on product development, he is the visionary and leader for all software initiatives. In 1999, as the co-founder and president of goZing.com, Dusig oversaw all technology development, marketing, strategic and corporate development. At goZing, revenues zoomed from zero at start-up to $13 million in 2004. In 2005, Dusig and Gregg Lavin sold goZing to Greenfield Online, an industry competitor. Prior to co-founding goZing, Dusig worked in sales and marketing at Progressive Title Company, a Fred Sands Company, where his knowledge of computer software programs and real estate marketing assisted Realtors® in growing their revenue targets. Dusig is also a co-founder of several online consumer services ventures under the Webtigo umbrella. He holds a B.A. from Cal State Northridge and currently resides in Southern California with his wife and daughter.
Gregg B. Lavin, Co-Founder & President
Gregg Lavin, Co-Founder and President of uSamp (United Sample), is responsible for sales strategy and online marketing partnerships, strategic relationships and the company’s strategic vision. Previously, as co-founder and CEO of goZing.com in 1999, Lavin successfully executed sales, marketing and business development. Within five years, revenues climbed from zero to $13 million, and Lavin and Matt Dusig sold goZing to Greenfield Online, an industry competitor, in 2005. Successful entrepreneurs, Lavin and Dusig launched a series of online consumer services businesses, all under a corporate entity Webtigo. After attending Cal State Northridge, Lavin began his career in the securities field as a financial consultant with Salomon Smith Barney. Today, Lavin is a resident of Southern California where he lives with his wife and two children.
Suresh Subbiah, Chief Operating Officer
An accomplished executive with over 16 years of global management experience, a proven track record of building global operating model and driving market share, revenue and profit growth. In his previous position as COO at Survey Sampling (SSI), his accomplishments included building a global operating model that enabled the company to scale the business and increase revenue. Prior to SSI, Subbiah was Managing Director, Global Operations for Seattle-based GMI, where he was instrumental in helping the company grow revenue at an average of 200 percent for four consecutive years. In addition to establishing Midwest operations, he helped the company set up operations in Europe, APAC, and offshore models in Bulgaria and India. Subbiah has completed his Masters in Management Systems, MBA in Sales and Marketing, and MA in Human Resources.
Chuck Miller, President, DMS, Chief Research Officer, uSamp
Chuck Miller is a founder of DMS, a leader in online research since 1995. DMS provides sample to the market research industry via online panels and Opinion Place, leveraging websites to reach 90% of U.S. Internet households to create broad-based, real-time consumer samples. In addition to inventing this methodology (“river sampling”), DMS delivers innovative research solutions to its clients. Miller leads DMS for uSamp as he did at AOL, integrating research, marketing and business intelligence functions. A recognized online research expert, Miller publishes, speaks and contributes to many industry standards initiatives. He serves on five MR advisory boards and is a past Chair of the graduate school advisory board for the University of Wisconsin’s AC Nielsen Center for Marketing Research. Miller co-founded the EXPLOR Awards, presented annually by the AMA and IIR for the most innovative research applications. For his pioneering work in online research, Miller was named Inventor of a U.S. patent. Miller holds a B.A. in Economics from DePauw University.
Steve Sobolevsky, Chief Technology Officer
Steve Sobolevsky brings fourteen years' expertise in web application product management, software development and IT infrastructure. Previously, as VP Technology at RazorGator Interactive, he managed the consumer e-commerce platform and built an event ticket management platform, designed and deployed in six months with an offshore team. During his tenure, the tech group grew from five to 70 members while revenues jumped 300 percent. Prior, Sobolevsky was the software architect for Outreach Express, a first-of-a-kind SaaS platform that allowed physicians and labs to communicate electronically while giving doctors instant access to test results. Sobolevsky holds M.S. degrees in Computer Science and in Physiological Sciences from UCLA.
Adam Marcus, Principal, OpenView Partners
Adam Marcus is a Principal at OpenView Partners, where he focuses on investing in and building companies in several sectors, including software, digital media and technology enabled businesses. Prior to joining OpenView, Adam worked at Battery Ventures focusing on investments in marketing services, fintech, and digital media. At Battery, Adam was on the Board of J. Hilburn and MoreMagic, a Board Observer at Exact Target and The NewsMarket, and was actively involved with Cortera. Prior to Battery, Adam was Director of Corporate Development for The Boston Celtics, where he led strategic initiatives for the team. Adam holds a BA in Psychology and Spanish from Franklin and Marshall College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
David Cremin, Managing Director, DFJ Frontier
David Cremin is a founder and Managing Director of DFJ Frontier, a Draper Fisher Jurvetson venture capital fund focused on seed and early stage technology companies on the west coast. At Frontier, he leads fund management, fundraising and portfolio management efforts. Prior to Frontier, he was a founding partner of Zone Ventures in Los Angeles. As an entrepreneur, he served as founder and CEO of Vis-à-Vis Entertainment, a music publishing and digital media company. He also spent several years touring as a professional musician and recording for RCA Records, Atlantic Records, Elektra Records and EastWest Records. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
Dana Settle, Greycroft Partners
Dana Settle is a Partner with Greycroft LLC, and she heads the firm's west coast office.
Prior to joining Greycroft, Dana spent several years as a venture capitalist and advisor to startup companies in the Bay Area, including six years at Mayfield, where she focused on early stage companies in the mobile communications and consumer Internet markets.
Dana currently serves or observes on the boards of Greycroft's investments in K2 Networks, MoVoxx, Sometrics, Sportgenic, United Sample, Vuze and WideOrbit. She also managed the firm's investments in Digisynd (sold to Disney) and ContentNext (sold to Guardian Media). Dana previously invested in and advised several companies, including Inphi, MobileStar (sold to TMobile), Revenue Science, Trigo (sold to IBM) and Truveo (sold to AOL).
Dana's additional experience includes investment banking at Lehman Brothers in the media and communications group and international business development at McCaw Cellular Communications. Dana holds a BA in Finance and International Studies from the University of Washington and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ad Age identified his book, "What Sticks: Why Most Advertising Fails and How to Guarantee Yours Succeeds," as the "Number one of 10 books you should have read". Greg currently serves on the Board of Zimbio.com, backed by August and Menlo Ventures.
Steve Goodall
Mr. Goodall is the retired President and CEO of J.D. Power and Associates. During his tenure as President of J.D. Power from 1996 through the end of 2008, he led the firm’s growth across four major dimensions including the further expansion of its automotive practice, the diversification into other key industries besides automotive, the expansion of its services globally and the establishment of the J.D. Power brand name at both the industry and consumer levels.
